The Afterbath

My children really enjoy their baths. It's a pity they don't get them as often as they would like. But they really really enjoy afterbath. They run around like nuts after each other with their towels on their heads, and they get instantly miffed if one of their towels falls off of their heads. They bring it to me, whining (or grunting "Auhhn! Auhhn!") so that I will replace it and the chase can resume. This whole scene cracks me up every time, until I have to begin my own tackling so that PJ's can be submitted to. They really don't like that part. Just call me "Fun wrecker."

Oh, and just to put it on the record, Elias peed and pooped in the little potty tonight. Yes, I said Elias.

I'll have to teach you our post bath ditty, "PJs and a Clean Diapee." It's jazzier than the traditional "Dry Diaper." There's even a dance that goes with it.

Oooh, perhaps the potty training will be earlier for Elias. Brother see, brother do! :)

Ava doesn't like baths but she definitely likes the afterbath. They run and scream without even towels on their head. The only problem is Ava gets so happy to be nude, she grabs herself inappropriately as if taking a naked reality check.

You've got to be kidding!!!!! That's great!!! Keep up the good work Elias. Tell him that Grandma is proud of him. Yes, it is a lot easier with the second. They like to be big like their big brother. Thank goodness you have two boys, it's hard for a little girl to realize that she has to sit...experience noted. Love the pictures. Love, Carol
