Snow Day(s)

We had a rather minor snow day last week. The temp was good for playing, but the snow was not plentiful. The boys still tried their, uh, hands? bodies? at snow angels and loved it.



Daddy also let them eat snow.


Then it snowed again last night. And it rained and rained all afterwards. Cold icy rain. So we didn't get a chance to suit up like little Fatty Red here.


But Michael and Kindred did make a little Buddy. Yep, Buddy the Snowman. At one point Kindred remarked that he needed to get to the North Pole so he didn't melt. But Kindred also got really hung up on the fact that of course he couldn't go to the North Pole. Why not?

Because he doesn't have any feet, Mama. He needs feet!

Poor footless Buddy. He looks content to me, though.
