News Flash

I just got back from my midwife appointment and wanted to share this.

She did an internal exam "just for fun" (my mom asked, "Who does that just for fun??"), and when she was finished she had a rather odd look on her face. Then she smiled and said, "I had to make sure I was feeling your cervix, because you are 4, almost 5 cm dilated and about 50% effaced!"

Michael and I laughed and laughed. I so don't do this birthing thing by the book.

I washed my skirt last night and got my massage this morning. I really could have this baby any minute.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.
